The good Doctor Hedgehog. Daisy Dormouse is ill and Robin Redbreast has injured his wing. Will the thoughtful Doctor Hedgehog, with his bristled back, be able to supply his two friends with fruit to help them get well again? Will each child (working cooperatively), be able to maneuver the prickly hedgehog (with healing red apples and green pears on his bushy back), carefully enough to deliver the goods? The trick is not to let the fruit fall. This is a very nice boardgame youngsters will love because they must decide what’s important: it’s a “balancing” act – one player may still “win” – but why do that if it could possibly cause everyone to lose? The wooden game parts are adorable. Fifteen minutes of fun for 2 to 5 players ages 4 to 8. Intructions in eight languages.
